Jericho Boatyard - BeforeWelcome to the Jericho Living Heritage Trust

The Jericho Living Heritage Trust seeks to bring together all aspects of the local community of Jericho. The trust is a vehicle for celebrating the enduring traditions of the neighbourhood and for maintaining the rich and diverse artistic, cultural and industrial heritage for future generations.

If you are a member you can access resources for trust members by logging in to the site with your membership username and password. Visitors are welcome to browse our projects and keep up to date with all the latest news. Anyone can join the Trust and membership information is also available on this site.

Charity Commission approves Jericho Living Heritage Trust Charitable Status
We are pleased to announce that the charity commission has approved the registration of the Jericho Living heritage Trust 1126723. 'The charity commission is under increasing pressure to regulate charities in the light of the latest legislation and the new public benefit tests', says Peter Strong, chairman. 'We are very pleased that the commission has recognised our charitable aims and look forward to working with the community and other local organisations in pursuit of our common goals'.
 
Spring Residential Lose their Appeal!
The JLHT is delighted to announce that Spring Residential's appeal was rejected by the Planning Inspector. Congratulations to all involved for your hard work and support in the helping the JLHT and the community achieve this important victory! 

What next?

The JLHT is now working to put together a consortium with the intention of purchasing the Jericho Boatyard site for a community-led development. Your support will be as important as ever. Please stay in touch via the website, more information will be forthcoming.
